Rodrigo Mezo vs Santiago Julio

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Manabi promoted show at Portoviejo Valverde, Portoviejo,  taking place on 18/03/2025:

Clearly AI Ecuador-Manabi have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Manabi Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rodrigo Mezo (6 - 2 - 1) who hails from Portoviejo, Ecuador and Santiago Julio(16 - 3 - 2) from Portoviejo, Ecuador.  Mezo weighed in at 112 pounds, while Julio weighed in at 111 pounds And 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Cris Victoria, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Robaina, Rio Contrera and Juan Guerrero.
