Ian Varona vs Elliot Cain

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Oregon State Fair & Expo Center Cascade Hall, Salem,  taking place on 05/05/2025:

Clearly Showtime Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Oregon Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MSG Network, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ian Varona (9 - 3) who hails from Portland, USA and Elliot Cain(10 - 0) from Portland, USA.  Varona weighed in at 129 pounds and 14 ounces, while Cain weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kian Bilbao, and the three ringside judges are Theo Wight, Baltasar Mijares and Peter Roger.
