Faisal Shad vs Imran Akbari

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Iran-Tehran promoted show at Tehran Rehman, Tehran,  taking place on 22/03/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Iran Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IRIB, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Faisal Shad (9(1) - 9(1) - 1) who hails from Isfahan, Iran and Imran Akbari(12 - 4(1) - 2) from Tehran, Iran.  Shad weighed in at 234 pounds and 15 ounces, while Akbari weighed in at 227 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Obaid Zakaria, and the three ringside judges are Imran Ashraf, Obaid Sharifi and Ali Khalifa.
