Shinji Yokota vs Nori Fukunaga

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Aichi promoted show at Nagoya Toda, Nagoya,  taking place on 23/03/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Aichi Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shinji Yokota (15 - 4 - 2) who hails from Nagoya, Japan and Nori Fukunaga(9 - 6(1) - 1) from Nagoya, Japan.  Yokota weighed in at 125 pounds and 12 ounces, while Fukunaga weighed in at 126 pounds.
