Bart Kahata vs Salim Mwachofi

Boxing Daily Report from the Konga Promotions promoted show at Lavaughn Kimutai Gym, Nairobi,  taking place on 24/03/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Bart Kahata (10 - 1) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Salim Mwachofi(8 - 2) from Kisumu, Kenya.  Kahata weighed in at 117 pounds and 13 ounces, while Mwachofi weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rex Odhieng, and the three ringside judges are LeBron Naikuni, Scott Merande and Chris Birir.
