Hugh Gichure vs Leighton Bitok

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Dikembe Maji Gym, Mombasa,  taking place on 24/03/2025:

Clearly AI Kenya-Mombasa have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Mombasa Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hugh Gichure (4 - 7 - 3) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Leighton Bitok(4 - 8) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Both Gichure and Bitok weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tavon Wanga, and the three ringside judges are Robert Perlo, Lisimba Dalrymple and Lisimba Dalrymple.
