Vicente Islas vs Rafael Puente

Boxing Daily Report from the Raisian Promotions promoted show at Mexicali Nieblas, Mexicali,  taking place on 26/03/2025:

Clearly Raisian Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Baja California Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vicente Islas (7 - 3 - 5) who hails from Ensenada, Mexico and Rafael Puente(10 - 0) from Mexicali, Mexico.  Both Islas and Puente weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Ponce, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Leano, Joaquin Chavarin and Jeraldo Toribio.  

Round 1: 

Islas finds the target with a jab.  
Puente digs in a right hook to his opponents body.
