Pat McNiven vs Michael Speed

Boxing Daily Report from the Ceaser promoted show at Ron MacAdams Gym, Manchester,  taking place on 20/03/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Pat McNiven (4 - 0) who hails from Wakefield, UK and Michael Speed(3 - 6 - 2) from London, UK.  Both McNiven and Speed weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ellis Nield, and the three ringside judges are John MacKay, Sam Stalker and Griffith Elias.  

Round 1: 

McNiven advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
McNiven connects with a left hook.

Speed gets on the inside.  McNiven is on target with a left uppercut.  
McNiven lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
McNiven steps inside and drives a left hook into Speed's body.  McNiven ties up his opponent.  McNiven is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
McNiven lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

McNiven tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
