Bart Ronnie vs Ian Brown

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Gore Gym, Boston,  taking place on 29/03/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bart Ronnie (9 - 4 - 1) who hails from Dallas, USA and Ian Brown(5 - 2) from Seattle, USA.  Both Ronnie and Brown weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Evans, and the three ringside judges are Nathan Burt, Charles Keath and Fred Reese.  

Round 1: 

Ronnie attempts to land an overhand right, but Brown slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Brown steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Brown ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Brown pushes his forearm into Ronnie's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Brown about fouling.  
Brown hits home with a left hook.  
Ronnie is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Brown is on target with a jab.

Brown gets on the inside.  Ronnie wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Brown has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused bad swelling  around the left eye.  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  We are going to the scorecards.
