Hume Kirkeby vs Acelin Osmond

Boxing Daily Report from the JDHawks Gym promoted show at Enzo Truffi Gym, Bari,  taking place on 30/03/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hume Kirkeby (4 - 0) who hails from Bergen, Norway and Acelin Osmond(2 - 9 - 7) from Liege, Belgium.  Kirkeby weighed in at 147 pounds, while Osmond weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dante Alboni, and the three ringside judges are Mauro Totaro, Fino Riva and Gianluigi Leonetti.  

Round 1: 

Kirkeby is looking to close the distance and connects with a left hook.

That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Kirkeby voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Osmond tries to tag Kirkeby on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Osmond is on target with a left hook.
