Driton Nuhiji vs Besmir Sonku

Boxing Daily Report from the Latvia Boxing promoted show at Besnik Kalkan Gym, Tirana,  taking place on 20/03/2025:

Clearly Latvia Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Driton Nuhiji (0 - 0 - 1) who hails from Tirana, Albania and Besmir Sonku(0 - 3) from Durres, Albania.  Nuhiji weighed in at 135 pounds, while Sonku weighed in at 134 pounds And 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Besin Chetin, and the three ringside judges are Armend Tiryaki, Endrit Tolr and Egzon Selmani.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Nuhiji.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.

Sonku steps inside.  Nuhiji attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Sonku's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Nuhiji lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Sonku advances into close range.  Nuhiji lands a solid right uppercut.  
Nuhiji is looking to keep his distance and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Sonku walks Nuhiji down, trapping him in the corner.  Nuhiji lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Nuhiji tries to keep the action at long range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND DROPS SONKU TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Nuhiji!
