Boxing Daily Report from the Quick Tan Promotions promoted show at Ellis Park Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 11/04/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the South Africa Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SABC1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John Lengela (15(2) - 1 - 1) who hails from Cape Town, South Africa and Callum Van Blerk(9 - 4 - 2) from Johannesburg, South Africa.  Lengela weighed in at 112 pounds, while Van Blerk weighed in at 111 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is John Nzambi, and the three ringside judges are Xhosas Kwadwo, Quaashie Duncan and Barry Khuzwayo.  

Round 1: 

Lengela digs in a left hook to Van Blerk's body.
