Cody Lever vs John Llewellyn

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Palladium Ballroom, Dallas,  taking place on 05/04/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Cody Lever (7(2) - 0) who hails from Boston, USA and John Llewellyn(1 - 3 - 1) from Memphis, USA.  Lever weighed in at 160 pounds, while Llewellyn weighed in at 159 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is James Curto, and the three ringside judges are Arthur Kinna, Amon East and Joel Abraham.  

Round 1: 

Lever advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Lever lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Lever pivots from in front of his opponent.  Lever lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  Lever attempts to land a left uppercut, but Llewellyn blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Llewellyn retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Lever steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Lever lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He then lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Lever advances into close range.  Lever pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to Llewellyn's liver.  
Lever is looking to close the distance and hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Lever drives a stinging left hook into Llewellyn's body.  
Lever digs in a right hook to Llewellyn's ribs.  
Lever drives a left hook into Llewellyn's body.
