Netro Makatindu vs Hiroki Mita

Boxing Daily Report from the Katembula Promotions promoted show at Hamamatsu Ueno, Hamamatsu,  taking place on 24/03/2025:

Clearly Katembula Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Netro Makatindu (3 - 0) who hails from Depok, Indonesia and Hiroki Mita(0 - 2 - 2) from Yokohama, Japan.  Both Makatindu and Mita weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fumio Hiraoka, and the three ringside judges are Kazuhiko Kawata, Takeo Fujino and Kazuhiko Kawata.  

Round 1: 

Makatindu hits home with a left hook.  
Makatindu is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Mita switches the action to the outside.  Makatindu strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Makatindu advances into close range.  Makatindu pivots to the side of his opponent.  Mita attempts to land a left hook, but Makatindu blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Mita is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Mita sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mita throws an overhand right, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Makatindu pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Makatindu forces Mita to back into the ropes.  Mita tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Mita is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Makatindu lands a left hook followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Makatindu lands a jab.  
Makatindu advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.  
Makatindu lands a right hook.  
Mita goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Makatindu to the neutral corner.  He warns Mita to stop fouling or he'll lose a point.  
Mita throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Mita's ribs.  
Makatindu steps inside.  Makatindu sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Makatindu sidesteps to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Mita throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Makatindu steps inside.  Mita throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mita's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Mita's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Makatindu gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Makatindu pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Makatindu is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mita tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Makatindu advances into close range and is on target with a left hook to Mita's body.  
Makatindu lands with a sharp jab.  
Makatindu is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Makatindu sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two right hooks followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Mita is looking to keep his distance.  Makatindu connects with a cross.  
Makatindu advances into close range.  Makatindu pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Makatindu hits home with a cross.  
Makatindu steps inside and digs in a right hook to Mita's ribs.  
Makatindu drives a left uppercut into Mita's liver.

Makatindu pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.

Makatindu steps inside.  Makatindu pivots from in front of his opponent.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
