Alejandro Salguero vs Frisco Lares

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Laguna promoted show at Calamba Hernandez, Calamba,  taking place on 01/04/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Laguna Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alejandro Salguero (8 - 4 - 1) who hails from San Pablo, Philippines and Frisco Lares(6 - 3 - 1) from Calamba, Philippines.  Salguero weighed in at 153 pounds and 3 ounces, while Lares weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ivan Talaro, and the three ringside judges are Scott Tulabing, Olindo Isip and Orlando Arrendondo.
