Ulises Albarado vs Manny Almonte

Boxing Daily Report from the Ondoa Promotions promoted show at Montevideo Orduna, Montevideo,  taking place on 02/04/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uruguay Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports Latin America, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ulises Albarado (13(3) - 3(1) - 1) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Manny Almonte(8 - 0 - 1) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Both Albarado and Almonte weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Roman Bilbao, and the three ringside judges are Franco Berrones, Javier Casto and Angel Nevarez.
