Brett Toroitich vs Bryn Coryndon

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Kampala District promoted show at Kampala Oromait, Kampala,  taking place on 02/04/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uganda-Kampala District Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brett Toroitich (7 - 5 - 4) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Bryn Coryndon(8 - 1 - 2) from Kampala, Uganda.  Toroitich weighed in at 242 pounds and 14 ounces, while Coryndon weighed in at 233 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rehman Shaikh, and the three ringside judges are LeBron Omondi, Polo Bourdillon and Salim Tusabe.  

Round 1: 

Coryndon pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Coryndon cuts off the ring, trapping Toroitich in the corner.  Coryndon digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Coryndon clinches his opponent.  Coryndon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
