Dai Ashley vs Scott Craddock

Boxing Daily Report from the Darko Promotions promoted show at Paul Julien Gym, Knoxville,  taking place on 02/04/2025:

Clearly Darko Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Tennessee Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dai Ashley (9 - 5(1) - 7) who hails from Nashville, USA and Scott Craddock(7 - 0) from Memphis, USA.  Both Ashley and Craddock weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leighton Parry, and the three ringside judges are Robert Davidson, Billy Dey and Clint Blagg.  

Round 1: 

Craddock is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Craddock ties up his opponent.  Craddock pushes his forearm into Ashley's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Craddock about fouling.  
Ashley steps away from his opponent.  Ashley feints a left, and then throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to Ashley's body.  
Craddock drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Craddock lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Craddock quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ashley throws a left hook, but Craddock ties up his opponent.  Ashley leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
