Leighton Cruz vs Haider Abdou

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Texas promoted show at San Antonio Maine, San Antonio,  taking place on 02/04/2025:

Clearly AI USA-Texas have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Texas Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leighton Cruz (6 - 7 - 6) who hails from Dallas, USA and Haider Abdou(11 - 5(1) - 2) from Houston, USA.  Both Cruz and Abdou weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Bellamy, and the three ringside judges are Andy Saenz, James Kinman and Sean Richards.
