Hilario Acevedo vs Joaquin Vasconcellos

Boxing Daily Report from the Shakalongo Promotions promoted show at Barquisimeto Hurtado, Barquisimeto,  taking place on 02/04/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Venezuela-Lara Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Meridiano TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hilario Acevedo (16 - 0) who hails from Barquisimeto, Venezuela and Joaquin Vasconcellos(11 - 8 - 3) from Barquisimeto, Venezuela.  Both Acevedo and Vasconcellos weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hernan Pecha, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Rengel, Juan Mateo and Santiago Cardiel.
