Lorcan Buckley vs Mehmed Akdemir

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at Royal Dublin Society, Dublin,  taking place on 12/04/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lorcan Buckley (7 - 1 - 1) who hails from Waterford, Ireland and Mehmed Akdemir(13 - 4(1)) from Istanbul, Turkey.  Both Buckley and Akdemir weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leeroy MacEwan, and the three ringside judges are Lorcan Coleman, Lewis Carroll and Rob Nesmith.  

Round 1: 

Akdemir pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a sharp right hook into his opponents ribs.  Akdemir wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Buckley dabs at his face checking for damage.
