Gig Lantigua vs Quiqui Rufino

Boxing Daily Report from the Reindorf Promotions promoted show at Roman Collado Gym, Juarez,  taking place on 25/04/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Mexico-Chihuahua Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gig Lantigua (13 - 1) who hails from Juarez, Mexico and Quiqui Rufino(2 - 6) from Juarez, Mexico.  Lantigua weighed in at 122 pounds, while Rufino weighed in at 121 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Senon Simeon, and the three ringside judges are Eloy Avena, Alfonso Alcoser and Leonardo Holguin.  

Round 1: 

Lantigua is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.
