Fedar Shchegolikhin vs Alik Rozhkov

Boxing Daily Report from the Ring star promoted show at New Generation Gym, Nizhny Novgorod,  taking place on 19/04/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fedar Shchegolikhin (11 - 0) who hails from Moscow, Russia and Alik Rozhkov(10 - 8 - 3) from Moscow, Russia.  Both Shchegolikhin and Rozhkov weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Andrii Pozniak, and the three ringside judges are Ivan Mihalovich, Afanas Sokolov and Melor Rodin.  

Round 1: 

Rozhkov is on target with a cross.  
Shchegolikhin closes the distance and is on target with a sharp right hook to Rozhkov's body.

Rozhkov throws a right uppercut, but Shchegolikhin holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Shchegolikhin pushes his forearm into Rozhkov's face.  The ref breaks Shchegolikhin's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
