Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Pichincha promoted show at JW Marriott Hotel, Quito,  taking place on 11/04/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Ecuador Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Montego Curiel (25(16) - 0) who hails from Quito, Ecuador and Oro Porras(13(1) - 3 - 1) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Both Curiel and Porras weighed in at 200 pounds.

Porras manouvers Curiel onto the ropes.  Curiel lands a left uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Porras sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Curiel lands a jab.

Curiel lands with a hard jab.  
Porras closes the distance.  Curiel tries to land a right hook, but Porras dodges the shot and counters with a left hook to Curiel's body.  
Curiel is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Porras sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Curiel finds the target with a solid jab.  
Curiel tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand right to the head, a jab to the head and a cross to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Some sustained pressure from Curiel could be enough to finish Porras!  Curiel is on target with a mean right uppercut.  PORRAS HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE ISNT GOING TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Curiel!
