Hugh Lynch vs Tretan Joens

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Royal Albert Hall, London,  taking place on 23/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Western Europe Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Channel 5, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hugh Lynch (15(6) - 0) who hails from Edinburgh, UK and Tretan Joens(11 - 1 - 1) from Karlsruhe, Germany.  Lynch weighed in at 229 pounds and 4 ounces, while Joens weighed in at 235 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Edmund Lewis, and the three ringside judges are Andrew McCargo, Patrick Cameron and Dom Buchan.
