Lucas Blackstock vs John McBryde

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast,  taking place on 07/06/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Lucas Blackstock (8(2) - 1) who hails from Sydney, Australia and John McBryde(13(2) - 1(1)) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Blackstock and McBryde weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Westwood, and the three ringside judges are Scott Martin, Mel Culp and Barry Forbes.
