Davie Johnston vs Yaman Ganiev

Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at Geelong Baseball Centre, Geelong,  taking place on 19/04/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Davie Johnston (9 - 3 - 1) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Yaman Ganiev(12 - 3(2)) from Khujand, Tajikistan.  Both Johnston and Ganiev weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Kissick, and the three ringside judges are Aaron Hadjinyan, Gethin Mitchell and Alastair Mun.  

Round 1:
