Xabat Molino vs Essien Jonga

Boxing Daily Report from the Donnelly Boxing promoted show at Donnelly Gym, Kitwe,  taking place on 30/03/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Xabat Molino (2 - 0) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Essien Jonga(0 - 3 - 3) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Both Molino and Jonga weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tavon Muyunda, and the three ringside judges are Deion Kalilele, Oringo Namomba and Kyan Lisulo.  

Round 1: 

Molino connects with a cross.  
Molino drives a left hook into Jonga's body.

Molino steps inside.  Jonga throws a left hook, but Molino ties up his opponent.  Molino is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Molino pushes his forearm into Jonga's face.  The referee warns Molino and breaks the clinch.  
Molino sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Jonga throws a left hook, but Molino holds on to his opponent.  Molino pushes his forearm into Jonga's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Molino about fouling.  
Jonga gets on the inside.  Molino is on target with a right uppercut to Jonga's body.  
Molino quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Molino lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Molino is on target with a right hook to Jonga's ribs.
