Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Centre Étienne Desmarteau - Ice Rink Jean Trottier, Montreal,  taking place on 19/04/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ami Strope (14(7) - 0) who hails from Kiel, Germany and Jonathan Patteson(9 - 9 - 1) from Vaughan, Canada.  Both Strope and Patteson weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Dunlap, and the three ringside judges are Prewitt Gedeon, Louis Marvingt and Elliot Girardot.  

Round 1: 

Strope steps away from his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Strope steps to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Patteson almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Strope lands a straight 1 - 2.  He follows up the attack and lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Strope lands a double jab to his opponents body.  
Strope strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Strope lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Strope is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Patteson advances into close range and throws a left uppercut, but Strope clinches his opponent.  Strope pushes his forearm into Patteson's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Strope to stop fouling.  
Strope switches the action to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Strope feints a right hook, and then is on target with a hurtful cross.  PATTESON IS HURT!  
The right shot from Strope could be enough to force the stoppage!  Strope lands a cross, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head, DROPPING PATTESON TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
Strope steps to the outside.  Strope lands a double right hook to his opponents head, DROPPING PATTESON TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Patteson is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Strope!
