Leighton Lusher vs Owen Armour

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast,  taking place on 12/04/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Leighton Lusher (5 - 0) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Owen Armour(9 - 4) from Hamilton, New Zealand.  Both Lusher and Armour weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Taggart, and the three ringside judges are Robert Reekie, Paul Phaup and Barry Forbes.
