Arnie McGee vs Bryan Mattie

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast,  taking place on 12/04/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Arnie McGee (9 - 1) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Bryan Mattie(5 - 7) from Sydney, Australia.  McGee weighed in at 125 pounds and 12 ounces, while Mattie weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Phaup, and the three ringside judges are John Taggart, Robert Reekie and Barry Forbes.  

Round 1: 

McGee steps to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
McGee sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands an overhand right.

McGee switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a jab.
