Quiqui Concha vs Rio Bocanegra

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Peru-Lima promoted show at Coliseo Mauro Mina 'La Bombonera', Lima,  taking place on 17/04/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Quiqui Concha (1 - 0) who hails from Chiclayo, Peru and Rio Bocanegra(1 - 4 - 1) from Trujillo, Peru.  Both Concha and Bocanegra weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eloy Sanz, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Montealegre, Saturnin Caraballo and Dimos Rueda.  

Round 1: 

Bocanegra closes the distance.  Concha quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Bocanegra throws a left hook, but Concha clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Concha pushes his forearm into Bocanegra's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Concha manouvers his opponent into the red corner.  Concha pivots from in front of his opponent.  Bocanegra is on target with a left hook.  Concha holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Concha pushes his forearm into Bocanegra's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Concha to stop fouling.
