Coeus Salihu vs Soner Sarigul

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Ankara Atatürk Sport Hall, Ankara,  taking place on 12/04/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the European Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Coeus Salihu (14 - 0) who hails from Durres, Albania and Soner Sarigul(13(8) - 1) from Izmir, Turkey.  Salihu weighed in at 140 pounds, while Sarigul weighed in at 139 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Erdem Balkan, and the three ringside judges are Goker Arap, Ahmet Akagunduz and Ilker Gruda.  

Round 1: 

Sarigul gets on the inside and lands a right hook.
