Boxing Daily Report from the Hacopyan Promotions promoted show at Kampala Kalizibwe, Kampala,  taking place on 12/04/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uganda Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John Kabumba (14 - 4(1)) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Duante Ssegwanyi(8 - 2 - 1) from Lira, Uganda.  Both Kabumba and Ssegwanyi weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Butime, and the three ringside judges are Robert Kabukuru, Keshawn Wamala and Jevonte Olinga.
