Karl Connolly vs Mason Blackwood

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ireland-Leinster promoted show at Dublin Leishman, Dublin,  taking place on 12/04/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Irish-Leinster Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Karl Connolly (7 - 7 - 1) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Mason Blackwood(7 - 5 - 1) from Dublin, Ireland.  Both Connolly and Blackwood weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joshua Higgins, and the three ringside judges are Shamus Quirke, Rory Carver and Leon McPeters.
