Montana Sepulveda vs Akira Kubo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hyogo promoted show at Hirohata Gymnasium, Himeji,  taking place on 12/04/2025:

Clearly AI Japan-Hyogo have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Montana Sepulveda (1(1) - 0) who hails from Leon, Nicaragua and Akira Kubo(1 - 5 - 1) from Yokohama, Japan.  Sepulveda weighed in at 167 pounds and 10 ounces, while Kubo weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jiro Kawakami, and the three ringside judges are Hiro Noda, Michi Morita and Ryo Ohara.
