Joey Matonka vs Veltry Feruka

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Kasarani indoor arena, Nairobi,  taking place on 12/04/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Eastern African Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joey Matonka (15 - 4(1)) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Veltry Feruka(13(2) - 5 - 1) from Kitwe, Zambia.  Both Matonka and Feruka weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lee Rebelo, and the three ringside judges are Yobachi Rubia, Bob Mbiyu and Duncan Wakihuri.  

Round 1:
