Ricky Mieno vs Zain Aziz

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Kasarani indoor arena, Nairobi,  taking place on 12/04/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Eastern African Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ricky Mieno (8 - 4 - 1) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Zain Aziz(14(2) - 3(3) - 1) from Kampala, Uganda.  Mieno weighed in at 232 pounds and 11 ounces, while Aziz weighed in at 237 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bob Mbiyu, and the three ringside judges are Lee Rebelo, Yobachi Rubia and Duncan Wakihuri.
