Eckerd Sasso vs Willis Eckhel

Boxing Daily Report from the Sakalyan Promotions promoted show at Curtis Lanjus Gym, Vienna,  taking place on 13/04/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Austria-Vienna Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eckerd Sasso (8 - 8) who hails from Vienna, Austria and Willis Eckhel(8 - 0) from Vienna, Austria.  Both Sasso and Eckhel weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Raimond Pahlbod, and the three ringside judges are Hewitt Karnig, Blaz Rauchfu and Abe Nareg.  

Round 1: 

Eckhel steps away from his opponent.  Eckhel stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Sasso is on target with a cross.
