Kazuhiko Hoga vs Eiji Tamura

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Tokyo International Forum, Tokyo,  taking place on 07/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Kazuhiko Hoga (2 - 0) who hails from Yokohama, Japan and Eiji Tamura(11 - 2 - 5) from Fukuoka, Japan.  Both Hoga and Tamura weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hisoka Enomoto, and the three ringside judges are Satoshi Fuse, Yutaka Hirayama and Kyo Tsutsumi.  

Round 1: 

Tamura throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Hoga lands with a ramrod jab.  
Hoga feints a jab, fooling Tamura into launching a left uppercut counter.  Hoga is waiting for the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Tamura manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Hoga lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Hoga switches the action to the outside.  Hoga feints a cross, and then lands an overhand right.  
Tamura tries to land a jab, but Hoga sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Tamura closes the distance.  Hoga pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Hoga drives a ramrod jab into his opponents face.  
Hoga steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Hoga is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Hoga steps away from his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Tamura gets on the inside.  Hoga sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Hoga switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Tamura cuts off the ring, trapping Hoga on the ropes.  Tamura lands a cross.  
Hoga lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Tamura quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Hoga drives a left hook into his opponents body.
