Patrick McGrath vs Ora Villalon

Boxing Daily Report from the MCK MARBELLA promoted show at Dublin Crosby, Dublin,  taking place on 21/04/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the EU Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Ireland, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Patrick McGrath (13 - 1 - 1) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Ora Villalon(7 - 6 - 3) from Seville, Spain.  McGrath weighed in at 104 pounds And 13 ounces, while Villalon weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joshua McColl, and the three ringside judges are Lorcan Coleman, Nathan McKay and Rob Nesmith.  

Round 1: 

McGrath steps to the outside and tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
McGrath lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Villalon manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  McGrath hits home with a cross.

McGrath stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Villalon throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

McGrath is on target with a left hook to Villalon's ribs.  As McGrath tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Villalon dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Villalon.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.
