Yong Mui vs Zhuang Hu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Guangdong promoted show at Shantou Hor, Shantou,  taking place on 15/04/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the China-Guangdong Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on His TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yong Mui (12(6) - 0 - 1) who hails from Dongguan, China and Zhuang Hu(13 - 4(2) - 2) from Guangzhou, China.  Mui weighed in at 118 pounds, while Hu weighed in at 117 pounds And 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Yuan Huo, and the three ringside judges are HuiK'o Feng, Chen Sing and Cong Tseng.  

Round 1: 

Mui closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  Mui holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Mui pushes his forearm into Hu's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Mui to stop fouling.  
Mui lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Mui gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mui hits home with a solid right uppercut.  Mui ties up his opponent.  Mui is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Mui to stop fouling.

Hu throws a left hook, but Mui clinches his opponent.  Mui leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mui quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Hu throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Mui clinches his opponent.  Mui leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Mui's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mui is on target with a left uppercut.  Mui ties up his opponent.  Mui leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Mui hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Mui lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.

Mui lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Mui is looking to force the stoppage!  Mui lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head, DROPPING HU TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  It looks like Hu has now recovered from that shot earlier.

Mui walks Hu down, trapping him in a corner.  Mui is on target with a weighty right hook to Hu's body.  HU IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Mui advances into close range and connects with a left hook.  
Hu steps to the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Mui slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Hu's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Mui walks Hu onto the ropes.  Mui hits home with a right hook.  Mui ties up his opponent.  Mui is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.
