Noel Bariagher vs Sam Kpegah

Boxing Daily Report from the Busia Promotions promoted show at Kumasi Akoto, Kumasi,  taking place on 19/04/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ghana-Ashanti Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Noel Bariagher (9 - 7) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Sam Kpegah(12 - 3 - 1) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Bariagher weighed in at 117 pounds and 7 ounces, while Kpegah weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Noah Asante, and the three ringside judges are Farhan Sahli, Ubanwa Akrofi and Brad Kyei.  

Round 1: 

Kpegah connects with a cross.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bariagher dabs at his face checking for damage.
