Boxing Daily Report from the Coetzee Promotions promoted show at Josh Kwofie Gym, Kumasi,  taking place on 19/04/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Connor Ayibonte (4 - 7 - 4) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Phil Kuenyehia(11 - 5(1) - 1) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Ayibonte and Kuenyehia weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brad Kyei, and the three ringside judges are Paul Kwakye, Bob Antwi and Malcolm Habe.  

Round 1: 

Kuenyehia gets on the inside.  Ayibonte throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.
