Jose Tardio vs Kai MacRae

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at National Stadium, Dublin,  taking place on 04/04/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Setanta Sports, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Jose Tardio (2 - 0) who hails from Irapuato, Mexico and Kai MacRae(0 - 0 - 1) from Galway, Ireland.  Both Tardio and MacRae weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Killian Bourne, and the three ringside judges are Paul Healy, Michael Corcoran and Aaron Hearn.  

Round 1: 

Tardio throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Tardio clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Tardio pushes his forearm into MacRae's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Tardio to stop fouling.

Tardio pivots to the left of his opponent.  MacRae throws a right hook, but Tardio clinches his opponent.  Tardio leans on his opponent using all his weight. MacRae is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns MacRae to stop fouling.

Tardio holds on to his opponent.  MacRae is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Tardio to stop holding.
