Jonathan Mortimer vs Dave Primrose

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Jamaica-Saint Andrew promoted show at David Hannay Gym, New Kingston,  taking place on 22/04/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Jamaica Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SportsMax, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jonathan Mortimer (6(1) - 2 - 1) who hails from New Kingston, Jamaica and Dave Primrose(7 - 3 - 1) from Kingston, Jamaica.  Both Mortimer and Primrose weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Nichol, and the three ringside judges are Ricky Hewson, James Wands and Dave Blackard.  

Round 1: 

Mortimer gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook.
