Michi Kase vs Jiro Tanabe

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Fukuoka promoted show at ACROS International Conference Hall, Fukuoka,  taking place on 22/04/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Fukuoka Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michi Kase (5 - 0) who hails from Fukuoka, Japan and Jiro Tanabe(13 - 2 - 1) from Kurume, Japan.  Both Kase and Tanabe weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kazuki Shimoda, and the three ringside judges are Ryo Kaba, Yasushi Baba and Akira Umemoto.
