Raiden Handa vs Mitsuru Hatanaka

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kanagawa promoted show at Yokohama Shimamoto, Yokohama,  taking place on 22/04/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Kanagawa Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Raiden Handa (6 - 0) who hails from Kawasaki, Japan and Mitsuru Hatanaka(11 - 2 - 2) from Yokohama, Japan.  Both Handa and Hatanaka weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Iwao Tanabe, and the three ringside judges are Raiden Yamaoka, Takeo Uchida and Hiro Sonoda.
