Yoshi Hashimoto vs Jun Shimomura

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Tokyo International Forum, Tokyo,  taking place on 03/05/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Tokyo Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yoshi Hashimoto (9 - 3 - 5) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Jun Shimomura(18 - 4) from Tokyo, Japan.  Hashimoto weighed in at 240 pounds and 8 ounces, while Shimomura weighed in at 242 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Taro Sunada, and the three ringside judges are Hideki Ishibashi, Hisao Hatanaka and Kenji Sera.
