Mark Nanez vs Xavier Davalos

Boxing Daily Report from the Spinger Boxing Club promoted show at Dallas Bertram, Dallas,  taking place on 29/04/2025:

Clearly Spinger Boxing Club have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Nanez (12 - 0) who hails from Sacremento, USA and Xavier Davalos(0 - 10 - 2) from Fremont, USA.  Both Nanez and Davalos weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stuart Ferrera, and the three ringside judges are Chris Suit, Harry Burwick and Rob Greenshields.  

Round 1: 

Nanez quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Nanez tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook to Nanez's ribs.  
Nanez manages to force Davalos into the corner.  Nanez lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  Nanez holds on to his opponent.  Nanez pushes his forearm into Davalos's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Nanez.  
Davalos throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Nanez advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.

Nanez closes the distance and connects with a left hook.  
Nanez drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Nanez is looking to close the distance.  Nanez pivots to the left of his opponent.  Davalos lands a right hook.  
Nanez quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head, KNOCKING DAVALOS DOWN!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Nanez!
